Joomla is better than any commercial software
Price has nothing to do with it. You can buy plenty of CMS applications from $100 to infinity. If we had confidence in any of them we would buy them with white label licensing and resell them with all our support and capabilities included. We have actually reviewed several (I do not want to mention any names) but in reality they all fall short. Why? Well, the answer is very logical:
- Joomla is community-based which means there are a lot of great (and I mean great) minds continuously working on it to make it better, not just a few like the commercial guys. In fact there are updated releases almost every month!

- Joomla is here to stay. Joomla is so popular and so successful that it won’t go away for a long time. Think of it as a blue chip stock like Micrisift or Apple. These companies will be around forever.
